Victor Costa was an American designer, also known as the “King of Copycats”. After he returned from Paris and started selling his sketches, he started working in the dress house of Suzy Perette. He quickly became famous in the 70’s after mimicking high end European styles, then tailoring them to appeal to Americans for more affordable prices. Costa was known to always be a complete gentlemen and respectful of his clients. After working in the dress house for a bit. He moved back to Dallas and bought a fashion house, Ann Murray Company, and started selling to Saks Fifth Ave and Neiman Marcus. He became very successful!
